We don't deserve Bernie

If I have my way about it, I will be voting for Mr. Sanders in the presidential election next year. Not for Clinton a (republican lite), not for any of the GOP clown bus riders. I vote based on whats best for business, my business. There is but a single candidate running who I feel represents what is best for my business. I want him to win so badly I can feel it, I can see it. But in another way, I do not want him to win. Sorry Bernie, as much as I will plug for you, spread your message, push for you to be our representative to the world and to be the leader of the Democratic Party, I really do not want you to win.

Guess What...

After my little rant yesterday about the opinion piece from Boehner and McConnell, a conservative was nice enough to send me the entire article, since apparently I got it all wrong.  If you could see me right now, you would observe that my eyes are rolling.  Hey, even my eyes need a work out sometimes.  I did thank him for his time, because now I can really see what the plan is...  Well.. No... Not really.

Where to go now?

So, Brussels was burning, might even still be burning, with all the conservatives crowing about their victory, telling liberals to eat crow, it was not high on my list of interests.  It should have been.  You see, the country has taken a conservative turn, and the middle class, poor, and elderly are angry about it.  Not the kind of angry we appear to get here, where we rant on Facebook or blogs.  Not the kind of angry were you write an angry letter, or leave a heated voice mail on the phone.  Like so many European countries, they get angry like Bruce Banner.  And we should not like Bruce when he gets angry, he grows to ten foot tall, turns green, and becomes the Hulk.  And Hulk likes to smash things.

Welcome to the new America.

CNN has called it.  The Senate now belongs to the Grand Ole Party.  As of this moment the GOP has 52 senators, and now we get to look forward to even more dysfunction in the Congress, and representatives whom we elected to represent us, representing big business, big oil, big religion, and the ultra-rich.

To All you Voter ID fanboys...

As I have always voted, since the proper age, there has always been one constant in this world.  That constant is that when I walk into a polling station, I get asked to present my ID or drivers license.  This happens every time I walk into vote.

A Third Party?

So, I was shown an article that asked can there be a third party created that would not help the Democratic Party.  Honestly, any third party created would take away some of the base support from the Democratic Party, but it would also decimate the GOP.

Get your big boy pants on. Its time for an impeachment.

Oh, this again.  Lets see...  We had Andrew Jackson, and Bill Clinton.  In almost two hundred years two presidents have been impeached, zero removed from office.  But GOP calls for impeachment of this president have been persistent for several years now, lets look at the history, shall we?

The price to pay...

I remember watching this guy as a kid.  Greedy, arrogant, and well a pretty nasty guy who said every man had a price.  People could be bought.  I remember in the late 90's as he shot a promo, where he backed up on his heel ways, and he said that every man has a price to pay.  On both counts, he is right.  Almost every man has a price, everyone has a number, they might not be honest, but they do.  Sometimes their price is more than what someone is willing to pay, but it is there, the amount or the price you pay to get them to back up on their stances.  But more importantly, with that number comes another price, selling yourself out.

And in other news...

Its Mother's day.  Take the time to wish your mother a blessed day, even if you can't stand her.  Be nice.  Otherwise, the GOP is on it now.  We better be careful.

Second Prick of the Day.. Charile Crist...?

Wait... Charlie Crist... Former Governor of the Sunshine State.  Previously a Republican.  Did lots of Republican things.  Didn't he?  Well it turns out he wasn't the normal GOP guy.  He supported Obama, and did some fairly liberal things.  He never really towed the line in terms of the GP rhetoric.  So, it is not big surprise that he dumped the GOP in 2010 before they went completely off the rails.

Prick of the Week?

Yeah, this week there might just be two pricks of the week.  Seems Thom Tillis is in the lead currently, and with all fairness, someone else might just take the win, but I am not opposed to co-winners of the award.

A PSA to my fellow Millennials.

If you were born sometime in the early 1980's until lets say the early 2000's, this is a PSA brought to you by someone who lead the charge.  As someone going on 33 years old, I am going to point some things out.  I know many of you are my age, or older, but more of you are younger, and lets be honest, how many of you can say you share the same experiences I have.

I wanted to write about this yesterday, but I really don't know how I want to go about it.  It isn't something that I am exactly comfortable with, I mean there are many things I can just muscle past, but some things, not so much.
